St Wolfgang

One of the most charming ski villages you could ever visit. Its lakeside location with mountainous backdrop is as stunning as they come. That said, the slopes are a distance away from the village and it is suited to beginners at most. With just 20km of piste the only other demographic of visitor is of those that wish to ski the odd day and relax the rest of the time.

The ski school gets excellent reports and English is widely spoken so their are non communication barriers. The nightlife is laid back and friendly. Being so close to salzburg, day excursions are easy and transfer times are very short.
