Seefeld

Seefeld is a tradional resort as popular in summer as in winter. It is a quite sizeable village with a small ski area of 37km. The hotels tend to be of 4 and 5 star with some 3 star options too. It offers higher altitude skiing from a base of 1200m extyending up to 2100m. It is the sort of place that British old money heads to; the type of resort where the retired army brigadier leaves his ski suit and equipment from one season to the next!

The resort is ideal for beginners and early intermdiates with a few challenges for the advanced skier. It is a great resort for non-skiers with stunning valley floor walks and hidden trails. Being just 30 minutes from Innsbruck makes it ideal for those that wish to reduce transfer times and maybe take a day's excursion to this historic town.
