La Rosiere

NEW for 2018/19 La Rosiere will have an extra 2 chairlifts, an additional 5 pistes, and access to even more off-piste. The resort of La Rosiere is set high above the town of Bourg -St-Maurice at 1850 metres and is a great bet for snow sure slopes. In a family friendly environment, La Rosiere has always aimed for the family market and during the last 5 years there has been a lot of development with many chalet operators choosing to set up a programme in this great resort. In recent years the resort has begun to attract a more adult orientated market. 

The skiing is ideal for mixed ability groups. Experts will find an amazing variety of off piste skiing with the added bonus of fresh tracks that can be made days after a fall of powder. This is in contrast to its more well known neighbours that tend to get skied out in a morning after the previous nights dump. 

The resort itself is relatively attractive with no ugly blocks of flats and all building in the chalet style. The vast majority of the accommodation is chalet based with no hotels and only a few self catered apartments. 

The satellite of Les Eucherts is a short (cleared and floodlit) walk through the woods and has all of it's own amenities with shops, bars and restaurants, and even an ice rink and bowling alley. The fast 6 man chair whisks skiers to the top of the ski area, and the ESF and Evolution2 ski schools have meeting points in both Les Eucherts and La Rosiere.
