Golden Eagle is another classic Alpine chalet of ours. Owned by a thoroughly charming and stylish local lady, every detail has been considered and taken care of.

The chalet is extremely well maintained and important internal upgrades this summer have made a huge difference. Those guests who have holidayed here in the past will appreciate the fabulous new entrance as well as the very large new ensuite ground floor bedroom.

The bright and spacious lounge has been beautifully decorated and if you get bored of the interesting artworks the views up and down the Courchevel valley from the huge balcony are pretty stunning. The picture windows make dinner here an absolute treat.

There are now five twin bedrooms, all fully ensuite. They do range in size so please ask our UK staff for advice.

An interesting feature of Chalet Golden Eagle is its separate media room on the ground floor, away from the lounge. This room has a DVD player as well as access to channels you’d find on a typical Smart TV, such as Netflix – don’t forget to bring your log in details!

Golden Eagle is next door to its sister chalet Eagle’s Nest and the two chalets can be booked together.

Meals

Chalet catering has moved on an awfully long way since the early days – thank goodness! A lot of thought and preparation is put into creating interesting and satisfying menus for our hosts to serve. We also take into consideration food and wine miles and source locally wherever possible.

Your Chalet Host will be cooking and serving home-made breakfast, home-baked afternoon tea, canapes and three course dinners.

Alongside this delicious food you’ll be served Champagne and a choice of unlimited red, white or rose house wines. A lot of time is also put into choosing a selection of house wines which will appeal to a broad range of palates.

Your Chalet Host has two days off during the week (usually Tuesday and Friday). We will lay out continental breakfast and afternoon tea to help yourself.

In the evening, it’s a great chance to sample the local cuisine and your Guest Services Manager in resort will be happy to make a restaurant reservation for you.
